Hi!

I'm !nFerNo, some of you might remember me, I played TCE a long time ago and I've asked for help here concering a Quake2 mod :)

I'm trying to play TCE again but I keep getting kicked by PB with this error:

My OS is Xubuntu 9.04 64bit (Jaunty)

I have installed TCE with a .zip file because the installer keeps looking for WET (for a long time), installs *something* and afterwards it appears that it didn't install at all..
The zip is somewhere on this site IIRC and I have applied the B patch.

Here is a small condump which shows some files that are 'not pure', but these just get downloaded while connecting to a server (and this takes bloody ages...)

hmm i dont have much experience with linux but you should update your pb as this mostly fixes the problems.
go via terminal into ur et directory, the give pbweb.x86 chmod +x ,then let it update. after that copy pbweb.x86 into /home/username/.etwolf/pb and excute it there again. if the update is successful you should jnot have that problem anymore. try to join a server to test it: 83.133.112.112:27961 / 88.191.80.191:27963 . the "unpure" files shouldnt cause any problems.

Check you didnt mix some 0.48 and 0.49b versions content.
Did you try the loki installer ? it works like a charm = http://www.liflg.org/?catid=6&gameid=52
