Post subject:  Can anyone help me to install on Ubuntu 18.04?
Sorry if this has been asked before, but I'm a little confused as to all the various files I need as some of them seem to be for Windows.

I looked around the web and in these forums, and there seem to be a few PPAs that no longer work and direct links for the Wolfenstein bits that no longer work.

I'd love to be able to do a simple install if possible - I was wondering if anyone has developed a .deb for this yet? If not I'll follow whatever instructions you good people can supply, but for now I'm a little lost.

Please help :)

Did you check this one?

If the link for ET in that tutorial doesn't work download the official .zip file from splash damage, or from here (how to included).

For easier install you might like trying this one. Download the true-combat-linux-complete-0.49b-1.1.0.tar.gz file and follow the instructions described there.

Simple, make a package-complete-unique.deb and this game will fill the servers again, single package also MAC and WIN. Simplicity is everything !!!

Don't know why that might be happening, but try deleting all profiles and config (.cfg) files from the tcetest folder and try again and see if that fixs it.

Also, have you tried playing in full screen mode? Press ALT+ENTER to go full screen.
