So I had forgotten about this game for a while, but now that I'm trying to get back on it, I found I can't due to it being a "powerPC" application. I'm running it on a new intel macbook pro. I have it all downloaded, but when it loads, it says I can't run powerPC applications. Any assistance?

Unless your version of OS X has support for Rosetta there is no hope for you. TCE does not work without Rosetta (or PowerPC).

Thank you gentlemen. I'll take a look into sheep shaver. But does anyone know if there is an update to TCE coming out so that you don't have to run things like Sheep Shaver?

If your only solution is emulation, you can try to virtualise a linux distro too. I don't know
what is the most effective and efficient: to emulate a power pc to run an old Mac OS, or to virtualise a modern linux distro on your intel processor.

For CPU stuff the virtualisation will be probably a better choice, but for GPU tasks, I don't know what SheepShaver does, and which virtualisation system for mac is better.

Since there is some free virtualisation system (like virtualbox) and there is plenty of free linux distros, it cost nothing to try (only the time spent).
