Dear TCE players I would like to just give a small update on CheatBusted. DISCLAIMER: Please no flaming nor arguing.This post is information only Streaming In about 2 month(more or less) of work on TCE,we have gained 12 servers streaming at one point or another.Out of those 12 servers,4-5 servers are continually streaming to CB Scripts update Our scripts are continuously updated.As soon as we learn about hacks,those hacks are downloaded and sent to CB's main coder.Then cvars and MD5 are coded and added as time permits.Usually any updates to the scripts are posted on http://www.cheatbusted.com/index.php?topic=843.0 Please note that we do not list the specific Cvars.We just list if any Cvars/MD5 were changed and/or added Bans Now I know that in TCE it is very easy to change names and in game info,however what CB is doing is a step in the right direction With this said,as of today(02/04/2007),we have officially 24 bans in our DB and ban list. Many of you are unable to see the private boards,so know that we have about 100 more bans to add to the ban list and the number of bans is growing daily. Some of you may ask "why haven't you already added all the bans?".The answer is two fold.To begin,when CB began operations in TCE,we didn't expect to have so many hackers going around.Second,it takes time to add each and every ban to the database.With this said,our main coder is currently coding tools that will facilitate the process,so very soon,the bans will be updated quicker. How can you help There are many ways you can hep,participate,get involved in this "war". 1.Stream to CheatBusted 24/7 2.Use CheatBusted checks/scripts(upon private membership approval which is usually within 24 hours to 1 week) 3.Report any hack files you find,anything suspicious 4.If you see a suscipicious person on a server,take pics(manual pics should be possible) and submit them to CB 5.For those already streaming to CB,update the ban list script as often as possible.Update all your scripts everytime the thread http://www.cheatbusted.com/index.php?topic=843.0 is updated 6.If you are a coder(PHP,MySQL,TCE scripts),have time and are willing to volunteer,please feel free to post your application at http://www.cheatbusted.com/index.php?board=13.0 As you can see,progress is made.Slowly but surely progress is made Thank you for reading this update and I hope to see more of your servers and more of the TCE community participation on CheatBusted's forums Our site is again located at http://www.cheatbusted.com |
