what I like to see on 0.49 is A special feature on the index menu of the game. i wanna see A short movie, how the developers made TCE 0.49, the models, maps, animations ect. ect. and also like to see A eye-candy intro at the start, just A simple intro/trailer, like ET's intro at the start. only it should look really kick ass!! with "godsmack - stand alone" sound track on the background, it should look something like this - http://xboxmovies.teamxbox.com/xbox/140 ... ne-Trailer just A representation for new players ![]() |

but if the devs decided to put another background track, please dont choose "Real underground heavy metal music" where they only scream, no offends for the die hard rock fans, but it gives me A head-ache so put commercial rock, like linkinpark or something, something that most people like, and for TCE's index background music, it should be some kick ass "jungle beats" like prodigy's beats, its just kick ass!! beat: tung tung tung tak, tak tak tung tak!! tung tung tung tak, tak tak tung tak!! tung tung tung tak, tak tak tung tak!! ![]() or it could be dark and moody like TCE's current background beat, I like the current background beat, it only needs A little bit remix, how about use the current background music, and add some jungle beats on it, the current background music go like this: tung.. tung.. tung... tung-tung-tung-tung tung.. tung.. tung... tung-tung-tung-tung tung.. tung.. tung... tung-tung-tung-tung so why not add A jungle beat with it, so it will sound like: melody: tung.. tung.. tung... tung-tung-tung-tung drum beats: tung tung tung tak, tak tak tung tak melody: tung.. tung.. tung... tung-tung-tung-tung drum beats: tung tung tung tak, tak tak tung tak melody: tung.. tung.. tung... tung-tung-tung-tung drum beats: tung tung tung tak, tak tak tung tak that would be friggen awesome!! i wish my own computer still worked, its broken, or i would made some beats for the devs, i have some professional "music maker" programs on my own computer, but its broken, im currently using the computer from the livingroom. |

I think a "making of" would be unused, people would more-likely just go in the game, and those of us who use server browsers wouldn't even notice it (we connect to the servers without the menu and st00f) also, it would require customizing the ET menus which, as far as I know, is impossible. many major conversions (I"m not sure how far PoP got before they moved to the source engine) can't change the menu, and I doubt that TC:E could. and, like I said, 99% of us would just skip it, frankly, most of the pople I know wouldn't even mother with something like that. and your beats don't make sense. don't say it's cuz I"m not creative or musical, I"ve written a book (small one, but a book none the less) and I currentl have my royal conservatory grade 4 piano diploma. |

when I buy a DVD, I buy it because I like/want to see the movie, and special fetures are jst an incentive.when I (and all my friends) buy games, we buy it for the game, not for how they made it. IMO, if I had to choose between half-life and half-life witha making of thing, I"d go for the former. it would also take up space on machines where every byte counts. I have tis computer, and a really crappy one, the really crappy one might be able to run TC:E on low detail, and still be able to squeese out a screen or two, but with making of, it's blow up from being over packed (not really, but figurativly) and BTW, I like the old, old, old old rap, the stuff where it was simple poems put to music. back when it was called rapso. |

I"m saying, I'd never use them in a game, but in a movie I sure would. but, only to a pont too. I had the choice between the regular Star Wars movies on DVD without the bonus disc, or the same ones with said bonus disc. I went for the first, because it's half the price. games are made to be played. if it's pure multiplayer (et and mods) special fetures are just a way to slow down my computer, if it involves SP campaigns (RTCW, SWAT series, etc.) I might watch it, after I beat the game. |

who do you think will have time to do that? if your feeling generous, you could try make it yourself, contect the devs, setup an onlnie interview, get pictures and videos and try to look for the .49 leaked video etc. They cant be expected to maek a video at the time when they are attempting completion of just another patch |

personally, I think tha intro can wait. if TT is working on weapons maps and a game mode or two, and it takes them this long, a new intro would take a bit too long. it's mre of an eye-candy thing for a patch that just fixes bugs. |

we could all put in some work into it, we cant expect the devs to do this. |

the tce main menu sound does get kinda boring after a while. it needs something more positive, something not done in g minor or what ever they used for it. But ofcourse original tracks are better than using a remix of someone elses. |

I thinnk that they should get someone with a bit of musical skill ( a friend maybe?) and ask them to do a new one. if you want to change the music, its in one of the .pk3's... |
