:P

when it comes to grenades, real frag grenades would be too overpowered, and probably not used often in urban combat.

I think a minimap icon for teammates needing backup is a great idea.

i would also like to see thermal and night vision

thermal vision is for the Rainbow Six junkies. Night vision is a possibility.

I also want to see an AKSU plated in platinum and have gold rounds.

(Example above of what sarcasm mixed with dumb ideas can do. :P)

Frag grenades aren't realistic in the current maps, and they would ruin gameplay anyways.

Why on earth would you want an airsoft gun in game?

Thats not airsoft gun.....its a ak57 -they dont make these guns anymore ever since U.S blowed up there weapon factory back in world war days (low budget)

Umm... you wouldn't happen to mean AK-47? An AK-57 is made up to my knowledge. :P

And Kalishnikov wasn't even in business in the world war days. Maybe the Cold War days but...

Nevermind, I probably sound very mean because I hate it when people make stuff up. ;)

It's either the person you read off of made a serious typo or doesn't know what he's talking about. ;)

I would also like to say something that I haven't thought of saying before...

I believe there are several topics that already have this scheme.

I won't lock this thread because you are relatively new and I think I could be wrong. :P

read this thread, COMPASS/GPS idea:

actually the yellow nades arent exactly unrealistic,
they really exist,
that yellow nade is also used in SOCOM u.s. navy seals,

it would be cool if the devs made more different kind of nade's
so you can choose evrything specificly, this really increase the "sophistication factor" and it gives more depth into the game.

read this thread, interactive imvironment:
http://www.truecombat.us/forums/viewtop ... 16&start=0

i dont know about dogs,

but what would fit more, are small little rats, crawling in dirty urban sewage like this:
Image
it requires a good bot coder, the rats should be bots,
and they should look like theyre moving different directions on evry match,

i saw a bot coder on the main.forum offering his help,
i dont know if hes allready in the team, but there is a big chance TT will hire him.

and to increase the realism factor and the interactive factor,
you should be able to shoot the rats, very logical afcourse,
it would be unrealistic if you cant...

I recall playing on a server where the Spec. Ops used the round frag grenades (M3's I believe) and the terrorists used the "yellow things" as you describe them.

I would just like to point out that the US and Russia were on the same side in both world wars.

airsoft guns can be loaded with pepperballs to incapacitate the enemy. I doubt that anyone besides SWAT and Peacekeepers will use those.

Having animals around isnt such a bad idea but the more things moving around that dont directly affect gameplay isnt worth the stress it does to weaker computers and the engine itself. Although the engine is just a software, 3d engines alo have limits in their rendering ability.

pull one out of SWAT3, ventura hotel level:

put in a big cardboard spider

I CAN DEFEAT IT!!!

*fumbles around on melt*

I believe you have my stapler...

animals would be cool. I suggest ouside of the combat areas for urban maps, sleeping dogs (easy to do, and put on earmuffs so they don't get awoken by the gunfore :))
