I have noticed that when you stab the knife it makes a sound and i think that is so very unrealistic

also i noticed that when you change weapons that the dude just tost the weapon on his back and it sticks to his shirt lol..i think when you switch out weapons it should be like ghost recon

and there should be more blood involed like when ppl throw nades at ppll and they fall down i wish there legs well cut off or sumthing

Okay Dragonathon...

Anyways, realism is a factor that can't be changed easily with the engine the devs are using for this game.

As for the sound part... The sound lets the person being stabbed know that "Hey bitch, yo gettin yo ass stapped cracka." meaning you should turn around and shoot the backstabbing spawnern00b a NATO round in the face.

As for the second one. The weapons changing part... Not much can be done about this because it would take a lot of code for animation which would only further suspend the release of future versions. And... NOT EVERYTHING HAS TO BE LIKE GHOST RECON!!!... The engine the devs use for TC:E greatly limits the... "Ghost Reconish" like effects you know and love. Also, Ghost Recon Sucks because it went from tactical first person shooter to "Hey, I can take hundreds of NATO rounds in the face and still not die" fighting mode.

Now for the third one, stuff like that could be done... But, in that case, it would be unrealistic... There is plenty of gore and I really don't see any need to add more.

And also... are you and Dragonathon in cahoots or something? Because you both think exactly the same... :?

nades wont let you lose body parts, they only cause nasty wounds,
but i agree with you with the wounds... grenade wounds could be more horrible,
thats just realism,

I beg to differ Dragon. You both thing realism, real or not in your opinion, needs to be implemented into a game that uses an aging engine.

sure hope my next pc can run ghost recon 3. its gonna be an AMD Opteron 64 1.8Ghz and a Sapphire Radeon X700.

----------------------------------------------------------

thats not necessary at the moment. Id say, finish the game first, polish it later. No artist polishes thier work before they finish it, so same goes for devs.

1.8 Ghz clockspeed yes, but Athlon and Opteron 1.8 GHz for socket 939 qualifies as a 3.0Ghz even with a physical clockspeed of 1.8GHz. Thats more horsepower less heat. My current proccessor is an AMD Athlon 64 3000+ 2.0GHz s754. Its only 2.0GHz yet its power matches that of a P4 3.0GHz

Radeon, well it is actually better than GeForce for certain games.

That depends.

More horsepower, less heat. I like that.

thats how AMD 64 processors are, faster virtually (its real horsepower) yet physically cooler than equivalent Pentium processors. not to mention cheaper too.

/me goes to army surplus store for an ammo crate
/me buys computer building kit
/me pwns on his ammo comp doing 1 hit kills with a knife from across the room

*wakes up*

damn, I wish I could upgrade my piece of crap, you need an HP raphics card to do so.
on the up side, I found one!
on the downside, it's from a computer that had a pentium mmx processor, and came stock with it...

I think a case like that, ammo box, was show in the previous E3 convention. Not bad look but poor rf shielding and heat management, not to mention much heavier.
