the new spawning point and the new animation is very nice, but the weapons are to powerful imo. One shot with me m76 and your dead..ppl use it more which makes the game more campy. |

The very same thing happens IRL as well. The only drastically overpowered weapons are the shotguns on long range. Anyway.. different, more realistic damage model might have been nice. With different hitbox groups for 1.) head + spinal cord/vertebra, heart 2.) lungs, liver, abdomen, 3.) limbs First group would mean instant incapacitation/death, second group would cause fast, fatal bleeding and third group would cause slower bleeding with possible stopping with bandaging. just an idea |

I like your idea sxy. Refined a bit that, in combination with damage affecting hings like run-speed or aiming stability (like I've mentioned before) would be sweet. That about if a small bullet bounces off bone, you would get a lung-hit...but in the game you might...hmmm |

Yes, I know it is not practical... but then again, remember those black bars? ![]() |

guns overpowered? WTF? no way. it takes more than half clip (15-20 bullets) from AK47 to take one target down. TCE had more powerful weapons, or there is something wrong in the damage model in CQB still. many times I find myself shooting more than one entire clip with MP5 in this game. people already regenerate some damage diring the clip. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

i have to say 1) pls make it possible that the killsequence can be interrupted by any key without to wait till the killsequence is over and secondly it would be nice after the killsequence message that you look into the direction where the shot comes from or the enemy was ... thats my 2 cents :D and btw, GOOD WORK CORONER :D greets |

Well, the m76 and its counterpart are a bit overpowered. I mean, they are used like shotguns with better accuracy. Perhaps removing the BUIS version would fix that, |

If I'm not mistaken, those gun were the result of a discussion here (I cannot find the page right now). People were saying how much they liked the M700 in TC:E and wanted the option of a high-power rifle without optics. I agree that the BIUS guns seem a little overpowered, one hit instant kill virtually wherever you're hit (seems like RPG/20mm cannon territory to me). Re: Bionic, don't you ever here on the new about someone being shot 10-12 times and still living...but you're right, that's a little strange. I don't really know anything about the medical side of things, just supposition. |

are you guys serious when you say those guns are overpowered? Cause I don't find em to be that and also a lot more people would use them if that was the case. They do also not do 1 shot kills..... Video below to prrove point http://www.xfire.com/video/444c76/ |

Craterus - yes, sometimes they do survive (they get into the newspapers because this scenario is not very often). Those that survive are usually hit by handgun bullets (low kynetic energy, the majority don't tumble or fragment significantly) or rifle bullets that for some reason have already lost most of their speed (old, low quality gunpowder, ricocheted bullets, distant shots, very short rifle barrels) and the critical organs are practically always intact (heart, brain, lungs, spinal cord, larg vessels). |

I have read about people surviving falls from several story high buildings, maybe you shouldn't be able to be hurt from falling unless you fall from a hight higher then 50 meters? |

You're right its uncommon, but the armor these guys appear to be wearing should make a difference too. And I'm sorry but two body shots into someone wearing armor with a .45acp hand gun should not instantly kill them, but it does in the game. Some more analysis with primary sources in order to accurately determine what damage level ought to be done, but its not feasible for this game where the hitboxs and lag make it pointless to argue about. |
