Started working on it like 2 days ago. Model is almost complete, just need to tidy up the Frame, it's currently in full quads and killing the poly count. Threw some temp materials on it to better represent the actual colors of the gun. References can be found here: Ken Lunde - Ed Brown Special Forces with Light Rail Pictures UPDATE: Thinned slide lock lever, added mag release ![]() ![]() ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ![]() ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ![]() ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ![]() |

Very nice, I think its just missing the mag release and the flare out from the slide safety could be a bit thinner, no? |

Haha yeah I forgot the mag release, and that's like the easiest part to model, it's just a cylinder. Quote: flare out from the slide safety could be a bit thinner, no?
What do you mean? Maybe a very little little bit, but not much, youre talking about the release lever, the part that sticks out right? But yeah, thanks. |

Ya, I dunno why I called it slide safety (I forgot what it was called) but ya that's the piece I'm talking about. It may just be the angle that makes it look thicker than it really is. I'll be awaiting the texture, as that's where I suck royally, and I'd like to see what you come up with. |

Yeah, it's not the perspective of the renders, I looked at the refs and the model and it does seem a bit thick. Thanks for pointing that out. As far as the texture work, Im pretty good at that too ![]() Sig 552 |
