I think he feels unwanted because of his post being moved to off topic, or he's grounded. I almost posted a few things, but I didn't feel like breaking the silence.

Dragon ruined this forum with all his posts that is y sooo many ppl don't come here, it's dead because the site became Dragon posting and mods commenting that is basically this forum and don't diss the Beast

Its ironic really, though- the only thing keeping this forum even remotely alive was Dragon, a though we could - at times - barely stand him, he kept us coming back for more.

Which is why it is up to us to bring up decent topics. Enough of the suggestions and what not, the devs are very busy working, it is best that we keep the suggestions for when the game is actually near completion not while they are still trying to get the core of it together.

Topics: not necessarily offtopic. You can rant about last nights TCE match. Talk about new gameplay style, tips and tricks etc. Talk about guns. Talk about things you like. Talk about people you know, gf/bf, aquiantances in the industry, the military, whatever. Talk about the things you are doing.

We have molded this forum into talking about "What you are listening too" In general that happens to be the longest thread in the entire TCE network. Other than that we rant about random things and make several posts that make no sense.

There are many many topics we can talk about, both having to do and not having to do with TCE - but do remember to as much as possible keep it about TCE.

Soon we will clean up the forums, maybe a fresh start on topics. If you guys would like, after we clean up, we could set up several threads with topics on them, topics which we could rant. Polls and everything but not suggestion after pointless suggestion that isnt really helping anyone at all.

Mods, I suggest we set a time and date when we all are available at the same time to clean up this forums very very thoroughly. I am availble at anyweek end from 1200-1800h EST (except this 12th of May). PM or IM me as soon as a schedule is set so I can mark that time and day off for the forums. Then we can clean up and begin making topic started.

Well, the thing is with me is I start a summer job next week at the plant my dad works at, and it's going to be 8 hours a day/5 days a week. I'm still going to be working my pizza job on the weekends, and on Fridays I'm going to be working both jobs, clocking in at about 12 hours in total.

Simply put: I'm not sure how readily I will be available for a scheduled cleanup after this week (and I'm fairly busy now as it is).

Yes, because for one, he's gained respect on this forum, and for another, he didn't get an attitude about it and act like he was something special.

In the mean time, try keeping the new threads to a minimum, for maybe about a month - try coming up with topics to talk about in that time (list them in notepad) - then when I give the announcement start throwing in fresh topics - dont you think its about time for the What are you listening to threads to die out.

So, as much as possible, [Mods] even little by little let us move all locked threads to moderation, old threads from Feb.2007 and back that are of no significance to TCE moved to the archives and lastly reassest the state of every single sticky, clean up if necessary. Just do this little by little when you can, like say after each post you make, move like 5 or a little more.

This site's main basis is the website, which does receive on average 10 000 unique visits a day - double that around release/news time (the content - not forum). The forum was added on to give members a more intimate community setting if they felt the other official forum was too overbearing.

Yes, recent activity has been slow but that is NOW mainly due to the lack of news and events - not because of Dragon (although I'm sure at some point he affected some members participation). In the meantime I'd suggest that everyone continue posting and continue supporting this mod without stooping down to a level where it becomes necessary to insult others in the community - or part of the community itself. None of us are under the age of 10, so it's generally expected that people act their age and act how they would in public - not immaturely because they are sitting behind a computer.

And LadyDeath, if this forum is so intolerable for you...please do us the favour and "go back to your clan forum where you can 'mod' the threads" and all that fun stuff. However if you can drop the attitude you seem to have in general towards the site, feel free to continue on your business here.
