Torrents are not the way to go for the reason that you know nothing of how they work?

I am a bit confused.
It was only a suggestion to save you bandwidth thats all, no need to use it.
If you take a file and let one person download and share it with 20 people, and those 20 people share it with another 20 each, the file sharing of bittorrent can distribute files faster than regular downloading from any server. All without the cost of the bandwidth. The bandwidth cost would have cost you 1 download to distribute the file to thousands.
Could you add a "Mark all forums read" link on the forum?
What if I couldn't find anyone willing to share it with me?.... and even if I did, how would they get it to me?
Couldn't be another Torrent because I can't use them.... what, would it be through Megaupload or Limewire or something?
Now
I'M confused.... are you saying that if I couldn't use torrents then.... oh well, you cant have the latest TC:E Version?
I understand how file-sharing works, it's not that hard to grasp... I'm just saying that most average people wouldn't want to go through the hassle of toying with torrents or even Limewire for that matter.
If I had to download the latest version via Limewire, I'd just say screw it and keep on playing the old version (because there's no telling how may of those shared files will be either corrupt, or combined with a virus, I know of programs that can do it too... easily).
I know torrents would be more efficient in certain ways... but when you actually sit down and think about it, it isn't the best way to get your game to the masses.
