little writing doodlie, can't really give it a real classification, I'm ad-libbing here...
it was a day late in february, 2005, Team Terminator and Groove Six studios began, what would be, a dark chapter of modification history. with the release of True Combat: Elite, version .48 B, a cloud fell over thier heads. the playerbase grew, and time passed. a release of the next version was promised, but never delivered. thi=us happened many times. sometimes leading to players leaving, even to the comparison of TC:E to Duke Nukem: Forever.
just over a year passed, it was March, 2006, a release date! finally! but lo, it was not to be so. march 31st came and passed. Promises were made for a quick release, but never kept.
jump to september 22nd, 2006. after 1 year and 7 months of work, a release date was announced. some of the older players doubted a true release, sensing another fraud, but then, as the days grew closer, with no cancellation, hope began to form. now, on septenber 29th, the planned release, we wait. some are new, comeing just yesterday, some have been here for years. we wait, clocks are being stared at anxiously, as we wait for the final hour. now, with less than two hours remaining, we wait. websites are flooded, some even going down.we wait. after 1 year, 7 months, 1 week, it ends. our waiting is over. ending teh darkest chapter in Enemy Territory modification history.
