yay im being an asshole again!!! but i just wana humbly express what i feel about the weapons loadout..
1. dont you think m16 is a lil underpowered? yeah ive discussed this somewhere else.. some people think that m16 is good, can conserve ammo, and is accurate n stuff, but.. since the terrorists have ak47, why cant specops have m4 as startout?? that way it would be evened, or else the m4 could be an option.. more often than not i have seen specops geting pumped full of 7.62mm. point is, this is supposed to be realistic isnt it?? well in real life, most special forces/swat teams would usually use weapons with auto or burst, they would want to risk their life taking pot shots one after the other, spraying and praying sounds more comfy dont you think??
2. mac10 is a great weapon, fast rof, optional silencer..i have seen terrorists drop a specops halfway across dem_hs many times!! but overall i think the mp5 beats the mac10 easily!! thank god aug para is gonna be on terrorists side.. they need a decent smg.
3. psg1 is nothing more than a heavily modified g3, i checked myself. and plus, it is SO expensive, i heard it was like ten thousand us? (sorry im not american) wouldn't it be better if psg1 was replaced by a steyr scout, or m24??
4.the mossberg 590 compact is an effective weapon, no doubt. but can the rof be increased slightly? i was once in a situation where a guy had benelli m3 and i had m590c. i shot first, but it didnt kill him. then he double tapped and popped me easy. i wasnt laggin at the time, the pump action bit cost time, and my life. (ps can there be an ammunition upgrade? like slugs or magnum shells would be nice:))
5.the aug para will have a scope right?

1. I really don't like the M16 at all. The firing rate seems a little bit low, and the delay between bursts is just enough to cripple. I have died many times since I couldn't fire off bursts rapidly enough.

The gun in game, because of the detchable carry handle, is an M16A4. They could just call it an M16A3 instead and give it full auto capability.

2. I agree that the MP5 is generally better than the MAC10. The MAC10 isn't a bad weapon, but I feel something more evenly balanced with the MP5 would be better for the bottom of the AA pyramid.

3. Don't care. Sniper rifles are generally inappropriate anyways.

4. I think it's supposed to be that way. Semiauto is generally faster than a manually operated firearm.

5. Sort of. There are unskinned models in the gallery, and they have a scope rail, meaning it's probably going to be handicapped by a screen obstrupting square-dot-over-smoke Aimpont.

sweet.. aug para will be here!!! and i agree. i hate the m16. i believe its not standard issue for special forces or swat teams, cos the bigwigs place a rather high demand on counter terrorists lives, and so prefer autp weapons. i think there should only be ONE mac10, the one with silencer, as an upgrade.

btw how does it feel to play a game you made? i suppose it feels very awesome and exciting doesnt it?

I didnt made the game. Being a modeler / animator / UV artist and special effect guy I only do content creation. Its laborsome and requires tons of self motivation to start working wihtout payment on it after 10-12 hours of regular money-earning work. Most of the time I'm so exhausted and tired I dont even do more than just go to irc, say hello to the other devs and then falling asleep. Apart from some early testing before the game is handed to the testers I rarely ever see the game from the inside...if you know what I mean.

The thing that keeps me going is the learning experience and fun that comes from improving things beyond what most professional game makers do. Its a big playground for experimentation but also for frustration.

Oh yes! It will be so damn good to see the dot-sights with higher poly. I never really got used to the (excuse the exaggeration ) hexagonal sights of the sopmod/speznaz.

1. M16 is good. I can kill people in one burst a lot. I have also used semi around the whole map in all situations and still did just as good. Its also very accurate.

3. Who cares how expensive it is? Its a game. Theres already a bolt action rifle, it would be cool to see the M24 replace that because i like the M24 . I think the current ones are fine tho.

5. I hope its optional, i hate aimpoints., scopes would be worse unless on a sniper rifle. I like ironsights the best.

lol ironsights are good, but how on earth do you expect to aim with a picatinny rail? (well i mean you CAN aim but not very accurately) and plus if tc:e's aug para didnt have a scope i wouldnt play it.
same i like m24, compact, accurate and somewhat silent. anyone here fired the WA2000? so short!! and bigass recoil

1. I agree...to a point. Specops may seem to be a bad choice, but i prefer it. Infact i like the m16. The Ak47 rarely dominates anyway. Sure i go on early game killing sprees, but thats not becuase my opponent with m16's can live up to my AK
2. Hmmm They are both good in different ways, Mp5 may be my chioce though. Although the mac10 packs a POWERFUL fast punch

M24? Compact? Silent? I dont think so, its a normal bolt action rifle, based off the Remington 700.

i hate the m16. and i hope that the m4 will be standard loadout. whoever the *i-need-a-broader-vocab* decided that m16 should be standard should cut his balls off. girls can pull out your tubes or wtever.

m16 as a standard weapon is a very, very, good idea. Who ever disagrees could just....just, deal with it. (thought i was gonna poast somthin' vulger...Gotcha!)

For instance, I once killed a family of 3 purple whales whit my bare hands...

I struggled taking out the Papa whale, it took at least 92,000 volts to finally lay him to rest. But after that, all I had to do was tire out the mama whale. As she wore down, I approached, then strangled her, and let go. As soon as I let go she gasped for air! Sucking in ocean water through her blow hole, drowning herself...

Now you ask, I though he poasted that he had killed 3, thats only 2. What happened to the other one?

Well, I answer: The mother whale was in labor at the time I was tiring her out, and strangling her. Thats why it was as easy as it was. The baby was half was out by the time she died, and becuase i cut the phone lines earlier the Mid-wife was not aware that the baby whale was on its way so early. Therefore it was hopeless for the baby, it had no chance. Notice I say "it" for the infant whale was not out far enough so that I was be able to tell the gender of it.
