The game will also be launched on MacOS

For Linux we have to figure some
things out first, as that OS isn't supported as a standard version of our engine.
Can't guarantee it will launch on Linux anytime soon however....
The guy in those last pictures does look a bit feminine with his babyface, but luckily
that's the standard face and won't be used. From what game are the characters you
posted, Grandad ?
For server administration we are implementing a piece of our own software, there
will be no 3rd party software that's going to be used. Not even punkbuster
~Don't worry about cheaters.....~
When the playable game and when full version will come out :
Let me first explain the steps (in short) :
Make Characters
Make gear and clothing
Add their animation
Add maps
Making characters is done quite fast, but their gear and clothing is something
that is going to take up time to get it right. Something that takes up A LOT of
time is doing the animations for the character. Yes, even with a Mocap installation
at home, it will take time.
When most of the animations are done, we're taking them for a spin on a bridge,
that Vid will be it's first real WIP video and is expected within the next 40 days.
After the WIP a sprint is eminent, finishing all animations and 2 maps, then it will
be launched as a 'demo' / test version. Note that at this point some elements
of the game won't be finished yet (3 players to chose from, limited gun choice,
not all materials will be finalized and some things here and there that still need
work).
During the testversion, we're tweaking tweaking tweaking everything and will
add objective gameplay, the rest of the characters and finish up the materials.
CQB and another Objective gameplay will be added later, as an add-on / update.
Between the playable demo and full version, we're getting some help

This will ensure we can elevate this game to pro quality and will be
able to add maps at a much faster tempo.
Ok... this still didn't answer the question 'how long until playable version'
Let's say that at the moment I declare all animation sequences as
satisfactory and done, it will be something like 30 days before you can play.
From the moment we launch that playable version, add another 30-60 days
for the full version.
Here's another picture of characters I made, the left one is not available anymore,
I killed him, when I pressed the save button instead of save as ....

Today's task : Animation : Work on the walk and run cycles and setup Mocap for
custom moves. Might put up a raw animation sequence this weekend.
