Because when I was using Linux, for the 5 whole weeks I had it , and playing a game, I would rarely get any lag. And when it would happen, it'd only be for a few seconds.

But yeah, I hated Linux... I'm too lazy. X-D

With regards to the number of MS products installed, its not entirely on the MS products but mostly depends if the user knows how to install, operate, and configure these MS products. A well configured Windows XP system can be a powerful thing. Also, Vista has proven itself to really boost performacne in software and especially Vista ready games.

MS products will soon be much easier to use and configure, lets say "more idiot friendly", not that I am calling anyone an idoit.

These should resolve most performance issues with the new OS and products. However for XP, it is just careful use of the OS, proper maintenance and monthly tuneups, simply keeping your XP system clean liek you would a car will make it run better and more efficiently.

No amount of system optimizations will fix this kind of problem besides a well setup system.

wel.. you have to realise that not evryone are computer geeks/nerds.
some use computers cause of necessity, or just for fun, and not because they wanna specialise themself in windows "to bad there isnt an emotican with glasses" if its your profession to specialise yourself in windows than i have nothing against it, but if your doing nothing than just sitting on your computer all day long with no real job, than i suggest that those people should get a life and find a job.

You dont have to be a genius to be able to properly setup your software, all it takes is simple english - and if you have not noticed, every single MS product comes with a manual and step by step instructions on how to use them - not to mention the countless guides on system optimization made so easy to understand that are available online. -unless ofcourse the person uses stolen copies of MS products.

IMO, you should get a job, what are you doing here whining about missing features and all that, why dont you learn how to make games and make some yourself.

Besides you sentenct is grammatically incorect as you simple cancel out what you are negating by negating your negation, therfore you just did refer to strategy gamers nerds.

I said "not that I am calling anyone an idoit" is a single negation meaning, it is only a figure of speech and it means I am literally not calling anyone an idiot.

also, on windows, my grandparents have configured it perfectly, given nl a fw littl things with thier AV program. if you knew them, you would know they're not good with computers. but they know the golden rule of google. if you don't know how to do it, google it.
