@paul: to be honest its allways been a problem getting CBQ working on linux 64-bit since ubuntu 11 audio pb etc..., and now ubuntu have removed key components needed by true combat elite to operate , yes i could do a dirty hack and mod system add "old libs etc" to get it working, so no its not just couse i got a new system, its couse to be honest for every new linux update old games like wolfet get harder to get working, i was just hoping it would be great to have tce cbq on an engine that would work out of the box as hl engine that has linux, windows and mac clients or any opensource engine out there ofc.
But i can understand your reaction to my post
@Dim$tar: No ofc i wouldnt want rip it to my own game, it was a question of keeping
cbq alive on another game engine as i love cbq

Yes ive done alot of maps in my days and iknow its easy to port

and i love to port hehe
but as you said hammer can be a pain in the...
But iguess this have been discussed many times over and over again, the [+] of hl is
its on steam and i think it wouldnt be to hard to port over, the [-] its not free, and i do love
to have the game engine free and opensource.

However maybe we just need to work on a new installer for CBQ that installs both
Wolfenstein ET and CBQ with dependecies list so it would be easier for new players
to install and get it up and running, but just trowing out ideas here
