recon should have the scoped weapons, but not necessarily sniper rifles, something liek a low power acog scope for the carbine. assault should have the extra nades and heavy weapons. remove the sniper class totally, just move some of the weapons to recon, since that i what recon really does, they need scoped weapons to see far and reconaissance ops. post "666", , kidding lol

if not just a server controlable feature, when version is out, we can make a minimod that is all deathmatch, for both team and free-for-all types. It should feature the availability of all weapons for all classes available for everyone.

i have a solution for people who wana snipe but still wana do cqc. how bout a fn scar h with 4x scope but with the standard sight as well? that would make it fair, the scar h has 7.62x51 NATO ammo, same as the dragunov and psg. although this would need programming and make the game unbalanced.

and you would have to be able to remove the scope or the sight wont be of any good since the scope will be overing the sight. What will be effective is a M4SOPMOD with the Acog4x scope. Its good for med range up to a few hundred meters, and since its only a 4x scope, its still good for CQB, although you might find it easier to shoot at waist level when it comes to CQB.

spray? well depends on how far you plan to be. Spraying never really works unless your target doesnt shoot back.

Or if you're in their face. Even then you shoot over their head so spraying is useless unless you have 10,000 mostly unarmed Russky's running and screaming up a hill with red flags... (COD Fight for Stalingrad anyone?)

yeah thats the only good sue for spraying, when your surrounded with no chance of survival, why not take as many of them as you can with you to limbo.

In ET I did something similar to that.

Several enemies waiting to kill me with a knife were crawling to the trench I was in. I had an MG42 and was killing up something horrible. An enemy with an Grease Gun charged me with 2 shots left, stupid bastard, missing both times. I pull out a grenade and he runs away. With a grenade ticking away in my hand, I throw it behind me and kill 4 people with one grenade. I got Highest Fragger Award on the next 4 rounds.

That was ET also where most of the pro's play with very little n00b's.
